Our Mission
Our mission is to help needy individuals and families in our community by providing nourishing food in a welcoming environment and by educating local businesses, organizations, and the general public about the often-unseen problem of food insecurity in Portsmouth and surrounding area.

SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY MAY 9, 2026
The 34th annual National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, hosted by the Portsmouth Post Office will be in full swing. The letter carriers will be collecting non-perishables food pantry items to gift to those in need we serve.
Each year, our generous and caring residents help keep the shelves at the Aquidneck Food Pantry full. Your compassion and willingness to give truly make a difference for so many in our community.

Pick Up Food
We have pre-set amounts of packaged and fresh items for pickup based on the number of adults and children you are picking up for. We supplement with additional fresh items as they are available.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wednesdays and Fridays: 10am - 4pm
LOCATION:
HOW TO PICK UP FOOD:
1. Drive into the coned-off lane in front of 137 Chase Road, Portsmouth RI.
2. A Food Pantry Volunteer will come out and ask you how many people are in your family.
3. The Volunteer will return with pre-bagged items, including canned and fresh items as available.
