Our Mission
Our mission is to help needy individuals and families in our community by providing nourishing food in a welcoming environment and by educating local businesses, organizations, and the general public about the often-unseen problem of food insecurity in Portsmouth and surrounding area.

We will also be asking if you could be so kind as to donate a food item or two to help keep our shelves stocked. Every contribution — large or small — directly supports families and individuals experiencing food insecurity on Aquidneck Island.

The Montaup Country Club Golf Tournament Charity Fundraiser

Charity Fundraiser Participation — AFP Volunteer Support
For the second year, Aquidneck Food Pantry has been invited to participate in - and benefit from - this important charity fundraiser. We will have 3 AFP volunteers to assist the event by working at a food table located along the course. Raffle items will be offered too!
Thank you to the dedicated golfers who signed up for this worthy and fun event. Your participation and enthusiasm help strengthen our mission and support the Aquidneck Island community in meaningful ways.

Pick Up Food
We have pre-set amounts of packaged and fresh items for pickup based on the number of adults and children you are picking up for. We supplement with additional fresh items as they are available.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wednesdays and Fridays: 10am - 4pm
LOCATION:
HOW TO PICK UP FOOD:
1. Drive into the coned-off lane in front of 137 Chase Road, Portsmouth RI.
2. A Food Pantry Volunteer will come out and ask you how many people are in your family.
3. The Volunteer will return with pre-bagged items, including canned and fresh items as available.
